Why the pullover is the best cut for a sublimated baseball jersey
If you want a design that runs across the whole front, the pullover is the cut to choose. A full placket physically interrupts the front panel, so gradients, fades, sublimated patterns and large chest wordmarks all break at the button line. A pullover has no placket, which gives the artwork an uninterrupted canvas from shoulder to hem.
That matters because sublimation is a dye process, not a print sitting on top of the fabric. The color goes into the fibre, so a full-front graphic on a pullover will not crack, peel or fade the way a screened or heat-pressed design does. Sizes
Pullover jerseys run in five youth sizes, YXS to YXL, and six adult sizes, AXS to A2XL. Between two rows, size up for growing youth players and stay true to chart for a fitted adult cut. Baseball pants are sized separately and also come in a women’s cut, so do not assume a jersey size carries across.
