Custom baseball pants

Baseball pants come in two cuts, and picking the wrong one is the most common ordering mistake we see. Knicker style stops just below the knee and is worn with high socks, which is the traditional look and still the standard for most travel and school programs. Full length runs to the ankle and is more common in rec leagues and adult teams.

Both cuts are sublimated in your team colors, so piping, side stripes and belt loops all print as part of the fabric rather than being stitched on. That matters for pants more than any other piece of the uniform, because sliding is exactly what tears a sewn-on stripe.

Getting the fit right

Pants are the piece teams most often size wrong, since players wear them differently depending on cut. Order a single sizing sample before the full run and have a player actually slide in it. The baseball size chart covers both knicker and full-length measurements.

Piping, pinstripes and belt loops

Because these are sublimated rather than sewn, piping and pinstripes are printed into the fabric as part of the design. That is the practical difference from stock pants: a sewn-on stripe is the first thing to go when a player slides, while a printed one cannot lift. Belt loops, side panels and contrast waistbands all print the same way, in whatever colors match your jerseys.

Sizes and getting the fit right

Pants run from AXS to A2XL in the adult and men’s cut, with a separate women’s cut from WXS to W2XL. Jerseys are sized youth and men’s only, so do not assume a player’s jersey size carries across to pants. Full waist and inseam measurements for both cuts are on the baseball size chart.
