Button-down or pullover?

This is the first decision, and it splits mostly by level. Button-down jerseys have a full front placket, which gives the traditional baseball look and lets a player wear it open over an undershirt. It is what most high school and travel programs choose. Pullovers go straight over the head, which is quicker between games and the more common pick from 8U through 12U.

Same fabric, same price tier, same artwork. Plenty of clubs run button-downs for the older squads and pullovers for the younger ones so the whole organisation still matches.

Why sublimation matters on a baseball jersey

Every jersey here is sublimated, which means the design is dyed into the fabric rather than screen printed or heat-pressed on top. On a baseball jersey that matters more than most sports: a pressed number takes a slide into second, then a hot wash, twice a week for a season. That is exactly where a vinyl number starts lifting at the corners.

Sublimated numbers cannot peel because there is no layer sitting on the surface to peel off. It also means gradients, pinstripes, camo and full-body patterns cost the same as a plain jersey, since the printer does not care how many colors are in the file.

Names, numbers and sponsors

Player names, squad numbers and your team logo are part of the design at no extra charge, and so are sponsor logos. Number sizing is built to league requirements by default, since most youth and high school leagues set a minimum height for front and back numbers.

Completing the uniform

Most teams order jerseys with matching baseball pants so both print from the same artwork and the colors match exactly. Ordering the two separately from different suppliers is the usual reason a team ends up with a jersey navy that does not match the pants navy. The baseball team package costs the full set at one per-player price.
