Why sizing matters more than coaches think
Custom uniforms are produced specifically for your team, so they usually can’t be swapped for a different size like off-the-shelf gear. Getting sizes right up front saves money, time, and the stress of chasing remakes mid-season.
Start with a free sizing kit
The easiest way to size a team is to never guess. A free sizing kit lets players try on real samples in each size before you order, so you know exactly what goes on the order sheet.
Youth vs. adult sizing
Younger teams are rarely all one size category. Have a clear plan for which players need youth versus adult sizes, and confirm any in-between players individually. Mixing the two without checking is the most common cause of fit complaints.
How to measure correctly
When in doubt, measure. Use a soft tape for chest, waist, and hips and compare against the size chart rather than guessing by usual size. Write each player’s measurements next to their name so nothing gets lost.

Ordering everyone one size up by default, skipping the sizing kit to save a few days, forgetting coaches and staff, and not double-checking name and number spelling at the same time.
